The Quickvue Pregnancy Test
Generally, women want to know as early as possible if they are pregnant or not, therefore they sometimes don’t expect any pregnancy sign (a missed or a late period for example) – they just decide to take a pregnancy test. As clinic tests are too expensive and don’t offer them the necessary intimacy to find out the truth about a possible pregnancy, most women decide to take a home test, not only because of its lower price or the privacy it can offer them, but also due to its important features.
One of those home pregnancy tests is the Quickvue One-Step HCG Urine Pregnancy Test. It has an accuracy of 99% and it works by the home pregnancy tests’ principle: it has to detect the presence and levels of hCG in a woman’s body, using her urine. This hormone appears is a woman’s body only when she gets pregnant and it is produced after a fertilized egg implants in the uterine wall (at least 6 days after ovulation). So the earliest moment you can get the Quickvue Pregnancy Test is the 7′th day after the moment you think you have conceived, but for this accuracy of 99% it is indicated to take it the day you have missed your period or 2 weeks after ovulation.
The Quickvue One-Step HCG Urine Pregnancy Test is very easy to use, as it contains very detailed instructions and it employs state of the art manufacturing techniques, resulting in a higher clarity and an easier to read test. It can give an accurate result in only 3 minutes (result which is very easy to read).
The Quickvue Pregnancy Test is a sensitive one, having the capacity to detect an amount of hCG of 25 mIU/mL. With such a sensitivity level, it can detect the hCG earlier than others, offering an accurate result very early. So if you are too anxious to find out if you are pregnant or not and decide to take an early pregnancy test it is recommended to take this one because of its higher sensitivity.
As a conclusion, the Quickvue One-Step HCG Urine Pregnancy Test is one of the best home tests, and that’s not only due to its high level of accuracy and sensitivity, but due to its important features too (easy to use, easy to read); that’s why it is one of the most chosen tests. You can also use other pregnancy tests from the Quickvue gamma (which are also very good) – two examples are QuickVue One-Step hCG Combo or QuickVue Semi-Q hCG Combo.
