The most accurate pregnancy test

The most accurate pregnancy tests are those based on blood, those which can only be taken in clinics; but because of their higher price most women prefer to take a home pregnancy test(which is visibly cheaper). Of course, a home pregnancy test’s price is not the only reason for choosing it. Most women are pretty uncomfortable with going to a clinic to find out if they are pregnant, therefore they choose a home test because it gives them the possibility of finding out the truth in the privacy of their own home.

As you can see, home pregnancy tests have some big advantages which make the difference, but they also have a disadvantage: they are less accurate than clinic tests. This difference is understandable if you know how they work: both try to detect the hCG in a woman’s body with the difference that home tests have to detect it from a woman’s urine and clinic tests from her blood. As the hCG appears in a woman’s blood first, the clinic tests will certainly detect it earlier than the others. When this hormone appears in the urine too, the blood will already contain a considerable amount of hCG so the clinic tests will give an accurate result earlier, and a more accurate one.

But, as most women have already chosen home pregnancy tests due to their big advantages, a question rises: Which of those home pregnancy tests is the most accurate one? Well, it’s fairly hard to decide which is the most accurate because most pregnancy tests have an accuracy of 97-99%. As there are many tests with an accuracy of over 99% you can choose from this point of view any of those – but you can sort them considering other important features too.

However, any pregnancy test you would choose it’s impossible to get an accurate result if you are taking it too early, that means at least 6 days after the moment you think you have conceived. Why? Because, even if you are pregnant, you can’t have any hCG (pregnancy hormone) in your body because it is produced at least 6 days after ovulation, and as you probably know the pregnancy tests’ principle of working is the hCG detection.

As a conclusion, there is no pregnancy test known as the most accurate one, but there are certain tests which have an accuracy of over 99%, such as: Clear Blue Easy Digital Pregnancy Test, First Response Early Pregnancy Test, Accu-Clear Early Pregnancy Test, EPT Early Pregnancy Test etc – and you can find most of them online.
