First Response Pregnancy Test result

A missed period or even a late one usually generates a certain panic for any woman, and as this is normal – she wants to find out if the reason is a pregnancy or not. Most women refuse to go to a clinic to take a pregnancy test because of time constraints, because it is fairly expensive or because they feel uncomfortable, so they choose a home pregnancy test.

Considering the statistics, one of the most used home pregnancy tests is the First Response Pregnancy Test, which has an accuracy of over 99% in laboratory testing and of 98.4% in consumer studies. It works by detecting the presence and levels of hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) in a woman’s body, using her urine. This hormone, also known as pregnancy hormone, appears in a woman’s body only if she is pregnant or if she is taking certain types of drugs (some diuretics, some tranquilizers or anti-Parkinson’s medicine). It is produced by the placenta after the implantation and that occurs 6 days after ovulation.

For an accurate result you should take the test at a proper time, which means at least 6 days from the ovulation moment. That’s because, as any other home pregnancy test, First Response Pregnancy Test won’t detect any hCG in your body (as there isn’t any before that moment) and it will give you a negative result, even if your are pregnant. So the earliest moment you can take the test, having the possibility of getting an accurate result is 7 days after the moment you think you have conceived. Usually it’s recommended to take a the test the day you have missed your period, but First Response Pregnancy Test can detect the hCG as early as three days before you expect your period – that means 4 days earlier than the other tests.

Usually, if you want to get an accurate result you should pay attention to the way you are taking the test. Most women make some mistakes when taking it, which lead to a false result – but this test is very easy to use so you couldn’t make any mistake because of its very detailed instructions. First Response Pregnancy Test gives you a very clear result in only three minutes, result which is also easy to read: one line – not pregnant, two lines – pregnant.

In conclusion, the First Response Pregnancy Test’s result is a very accurate one especially if you take it at a proper time, which is 4 days earlier than other leading brands.
