EPT pregnancy test
Nowadays, women don’t believe in the old pregnancy’s signs anymore because most of them prefer to take a pregnancy test to find out the truth. But not all of them have time to go to a clinic or maybe they are shy, so they choose a home pregnancy test. Also, those tests have the advantage of a lower price too. But there are so many brands of home pregnancy tests, so inevitably a question rises: Which of those should you choose? Which is the best?
It is very hard to decide which is best because they all are working by the same principle, and are all fairly accurate. But other features could help you make a distinction: the test’s sensitivity, how easy it is to use, the clarity of reading its result, the time needed to give an accurate result or the moment to take it and get a correct result.
One of the most chosen home pregnancy tests seems to be EPT Pregnancy Test, and that’s due to its features:
- it’s not necessarily to take it with the first morning urine
- analgesics and antibiotic don’t affect its result
- it can give you an accurate result in only three minutes
- it can be taken the first day of a missed period
EPT Pregnancy Test’s features are not the only reasons to chose this particular test, other reasons being equally important:
- it’s easy to use: all you have to do is remove the test stick cap and to hold it under your urine stream for 5 seconds
- easy to read: after you take it, wait for 3 minutes and the result will appear in the results window (one line – not pregnant, tow lines – pregnant)
- an accuracy of 99%
EPT Pregnancy Test works by a simple principle: the detection of the pregnancy hormone’s presence and levels in a woman’s body. This hormone is technically called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) and it appears in a woman’s body only when she gets pregnant or when she is taking a certain type of drug. It is produced by the placenta after a fertilized egg implants the uterine wall (and this implantation does not occur until 6 days before ovulation).
Many women are also wondering when to take an EPT Pregnancy Test for getting an accurate result. Well, considering its way of working you shouldn’t take it until 6 days after ovulation because there is no hCG to detect yet – therefore the test result will probably be a negative one even if you are pregnant indeed. It is recommended to take it 2 weeks after ovulation or the day you have missed your period.
As a conclusion, EPT pregnancy test is one of the most used home pregnancy tests and that is due to its big advantages. However, if your test result is a positive one you should see a doctor, not only to find out if it’s true, but also to get some instructions of taking care of your health in this new situation.
