Early pregnancy test result

         Pregnancy is usually a big desire of many women and their men(spouse or lover). If you happen to be in such a testing clinic you can see many happy teary reactions; some people get so excited about the “positive pregnancy test” news.. And then again some are so sad about the negative result. If these tests are taken in a clinic, no matter if is a public or a private one, they could be very expensive, especially if the result is a negative one and you have to come back over and over again. So we can say that an economical option can be the home pregnancy test.

         Usually, for confirming a pregnancy, blood or urine tests are used. These pregnancy tests, which are very used by the most women, are based on the urine. These tests detect the presence and lower levels of the hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin). This hormone is known as the pregnancy hormone too and it is found in urine once women become pregnant and, while pregnancy evolves, its levels in the body will rise. The tests can be taken at any time of the day, but for more accuracy it would be best to take them with your first morning urine.

         For a correct result, most doctors recommend to take the pregnancy test one day before the missed period, but there are many tests that are more sensitive which can be taken earlier. Many tests were created and many market researches performed – here are some results:
• 69% of women take the test 4 days before their period
• 83% of women take it 3 days before their period
• 93% of women take the test 2 days before their period
• 93% of women take it 1 day before their period

         Although the figures tell a lot, we know that there are many differences from woman to woman and, depending on the level of the pregnancy hormone, there can be women who can take the test and have a correct response 5 or 6 days before their period (if the test result is a positive one – because, as we said earlier, this hormone appears in your body only if you are pregnant). Of course, if the result in these days is a negative one – the woman should repeat it because the hormone may not be enough to be detected.
